Members and Networks
CVSF has a number of specialist networks which bring together diverse groups of individuals from very small groups to very large organisations. Some of these networks meet quarterly, some more often.
All CVSF networks will be encouraged to develop their own terms of reference but all should embrace the vision and values and aims and objectives of the CVSF.
Each network should agree a ‘responsible contact officer', who acts as the point of communication between the Network CVSF's office.
Membership
Networks are 'sub networks' of CVSF and therefore all members of a network should join CVSF if they aren't already a Member.
Administrative Support
CVSF will support networks in three ways:
1. Photocopying. CVSF will pay for photocopying network meeting notes.
2. Mailings. CVSF will post up to 6 mailings annually on behalf of each network. CVSF will maintain the network mailing lists in liaison with the responsible contact officer.
3. Room Hire. If no one member of each network has a room to offer, CVSF will pay for room hire for network meetings, to a maximum of £100 annually.
Facilitators and Scribes
Networks that meet within CVSF events, eg Your Space, are responsible for providing information for conference agenda's and their own facilitator and note taker.
Feedback to CVSF's wider membership
CVSF offers space in it's monthly email newsletter, ‘Dialogue' so that networks can share their work with others and recruit new members.
Meetings within CVSF events
CVSF will try and accommodate network meetings in its events but sometimes, usually because of the meeting space which is available, this isn't always possible.
